Company

iCognition is an Australian company delivering specialist development, consultancy and implementation services centred on information management. We provide trusted advice, strategy development, innovative solutions, product development, implementation and support services to organisations seeking to manage their information as a vital corporate asset. Please refer to the iCognition website (opens in a new window) to review our Consultancy and Implementation Services.

iCognition has developed the Diem Enterprise Solutions to ensure greater adoption and use of the HP TRIM document and records management system, as well as providing additional value-added capability. While proper analysis and design and good change management strategies can never be replaced, providing users with better ways of interacting with HP TRIM allows users to control and manage their information either in ways that they are used, or using modern web paradigms.

As a HP Platinum Partner, we have developed these improved ways of interacting through our Diem Enterprise Solutions for HP TRIM.  iCognition’s Diem Enterprise Solutions are proven solutions in use by a number of organisations and are providing dramatic increases in user take-up of HP TRIM, or simply increasing the usability and success of the overall solution.   These interfaces allow users to work in the way they want to, while also ensuring the management of information as a corporate asset.

We recently celebrated winning a major Australian Federal Government tender for Australian Consumer & Competition Commission (ACCC).  ACCC released a tender for a ‘TRIM Interface’ in August 2009. The focus of the tender was on a solution that was simple and easy to use, with HP TRIM providing the EDRMS ‘back end engine’ behind the solution. Users do not see HP TRIM, but the full EDRMS functionality is available. After a comprehensive evaluation process, ACCC chose iCognition’s solution as a clear winner under functionality and value for money considerations. Their assessment was that no Government agency could get a better solution if they went to market, and therefore other agencies can save themselves time and effort by purchasing the solution via a ‘piggy back’ clause in the contract. If you would like to know more about this contract or the solution, please contact iCognition using the Contact Us page (opens in a new window).
